Characteristics of Effective Learning

The children have enjoyed exploring the shredded paper with stacking cups to empty and fill. The children used their hands to explore the shredded paper and sprinkling it between their fingers. The children were creating lots of babble sounds, as they showed their enjoyment. The children showed some lovely interactions towards each other, as they were smiling and sharing the stacking cups.

Physical Development

The children have enjoyed exploring play dough experimenting with different tools moving them in and out of the play dough. The children used their whole hand grasp, as they made their marks in the play dough, developing their hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. The children were so interested in exploring the play dough, as they were fully engaged in what they were doing.
