The Den:

We have had a lovely final week of the term!

With the Easter half term fast approaching we want to thank everyone who came to our spring ‘stay and play’ on Wednesday it was lovely for parents and carers to see what their children get up to in the Den. All the children have really enjoyed and been fully engaged in the Easter activities such as painting with daffodils. The children used natural resources such as daffodils to create marks on the paper with spring coloured paint. They have also been exploring Easter tuff trays filled with spring coloured tissue paper and flowers, along with spring themed animals such as rabbits and chicks.

The children have had a huge interest in bubbles this week and have been asking for staff to use them so that they are able to pop them, we linked this to the nursery rhyme ,”I had a little turtle”. The children have also enjoyed some physical activities this week such as “the wiggle dance”.

In the den this week we have had a lot of transition visits from new children who will be joining us very soon as well as children who are moving over into the Discovery hub to continue their journey! It has been a pleasure caring for the children who will be moving over into the discovery hub and we wish them the best, as we look forward to welcoming new children in after Easter!
